How Our Team is Handling Work from Home?

From the last week, our team is working from home. It was not easy for the first few days as they were habitual of working in an office space.

We took a session to guide them in order to get some motivation among them. For a team leader, it is always an important task to guide the team in the right direction. The session lasted for an hour and the feedback from the team was positive.

The second big problem with us was to allow personal computers to team members. As we work on the data provided by clients so we don't allow the employees to work on their own laptops or devices. They only have access to data from our own personal computers.

Finally, we decided to send each individual computer to their home address. We know it is not something good for a company but, this was the only option we had. We were not in a state to stop the work and thus we hired a logistics company to help us deliver the computers in a better manner.

So here are the things that we did to get the best results from our work from the home campaign:

Sent personal computers to each individual
Gifted them a dongle to get them connected with the Internet.
Allowed them to work only for 4-5 hours a day
Trained them on some remote software so that teams can collaborate on work
Provided Udemy business account so that they can learn new skills while working from home.
Created a Sheet having all the details of work so that everything works in harmony.

All the above activities made it possible and we are seeing a continuous flow of work without any problem. Our positive approach helped the teamwork towards the goals of the organization. We would suggest other companies in helping the employees get some positivity in their work profiles.
