From last few months Google is facing some weird indexing issues. Most of the times new content isn't getting indexed and sometimes websites getting de-indexed too.
Almost all of our clients were facing this issue and we had no clue of this thing. We published around 20 articles in total for different clients and none of them were getting indexed. They were emailing us for this and we were not able to answer them.
On June 3rd, Google tweeted about the issue that they are not able to index new content properly. Though they already tweeted about this a month ago but then it worked for some days before going dark again. Their tweet gave us some relief and we answered the emails of our clients after that with the screenshot of that tweet.
It is hard to survive when all your company structure is based on a third party service. Google faces issues a lot and because of that we had to answer our clients every now and then. Is there any solution for that?
We don't see any solution for that in the near future. Google is a tech giant and no company is powerful enough to compete them at least in the search engine's domain. They have user data with predictions that they have made over years and that makes them unbeatable.
Companies like Microsoft, Yahoo, Duck Duck Go are working hard day and night but they are not able to replace even a slight of Google. We are happy that someone some where is at least giving this a try as it is not easy to compete a tech giant who has got the monopoly in the market.
When you want to compete someone you have to know their weakness. Google's weakness is privacy and Duck Duck Go is based on the privacy model only. So, if you are a company who is working on competitor's research then try to find their weakness and how you as a company can do that thing better.
We have a client that is working on YouTube model and they want to launch a video platform where they will be having an option to remove ads completely. We suggested them not to go that way as Google is already doing that with YouTube.
Nobody wants to switch from an app to another with having same or less features. Work on your basics and business becomes so simple. Now, take a look at the posts below and share your feedback:
