The above quote explains the situation well and also shows the effect that this situation is creating. So many businesses especially in tour and travel domain are affected much here in United States.

Looking at the number of affected people you can easily guess about the impact. In January 2020, we had around 59 clients and all of them were related to different niches including Saas developers, Website development, Schools and more.

When this all started we had a meeting with each individual client to discuss about the things that we should move with. Most of them asked us to slow down the ad spent and thus our digital marketing domain slowed down too.

We get a major part of our revenue through paid advertisements and they saw a decline of about 59%. This is huge for a company just 3 years old and we also have employees to pay. We tried to consult the clients to sort out things and have some solution for this problem but there wasn;t any.

Some of our main clients stopped the campaigns and we had to return the money for remaining period of time. Some agencies even denied to pay back but we don't believe in doing things this way. At present we only have 13 clients for whom we are working as a personal associate.

How We Dealt With Declining Revenue?

We took a better way and instead of removing employees we started to take small gigs. Like we never took any website audit work in the past but now we chose to take the chance. In the last 30 days we have audited close to 20 websites and that too for a paid gig.

We attracted clients by showing them some important reasons. As, they are not currently working on the websites, this is the right time to revamp websites and optimize them before everything starts again from zero.

Not only website audit gigs but SEO Audits, Keywords Research, Facebook Business Manager setup and a lot of other work. These activities allowed us to generate more revenue that we ever had by doing projects. Though we will not be continuing these things but at present this is the best solution that we got.
